OWP with Inland PR Common Law Sponsorship

Hi,

I applied for an OWP with my PR common law application. Should I expect correspondence about this through my online cic account or through mail?

I'm almost at the 4 month mark since submitting so I should be expecting a response on it soon. However, I moved address last month and I'm worried it may have been sent to my old address.

You will definitely receive the physical OWP by mail, so I would recommend going to Canada Post and re-direct your mail. I'd also advise contacting the IRCC and update your new contact details (can do this via web form). You will receive correspondence through your Online account if you linked your OWP application (not just your PR application, they are two separate applications!).
