OWP till 2017 but want to go to grad school at night

Hi everyone,

I'm living in Canada now holding an open work permit I got from applying for PR spouse last year Nov 2014. I already got accepted to a grad school (2 days/week at night) but it is consider as a full time program starting next year.

My question is do you think it will be possible that immigration officer will approve study visa for me? Will that void my work permit? Or am I allow to do both? Please advise. Thank you so much.

First thing if you are an international student then its clear that you are not allowed to work fulltime which your existing WP allows you to do ( which possibly gives you either cancellation of existing WP or refusal for SP or they might encourage you to withdraw your app for SP) . Second option let your WP finish and change your status from WP to Sp
