My name is vishal. I am an Australian citizen. I am on visitor visa in Canada and my wife has applied for my PR from inside Canada. It’s been two months since we receive our file no. But did not receive work permit yet. Want to know how much time it will take to get my open work permit.

I have a question ... As I applied for my OWP with my spouse sponcership file and while processing my case can I leave the country ?
or if I left Canada then immigration can stop my work permit because in status they can see this person is not in Canada
Moreover, what kind of problems I will face in my case if I leave Canada
