OWP HELP

Hello !
We applied for sponsorship under common law on March 1st. We haven't heard anything back yet (which I know everything is slowed down because of the pandemic) but when we applied we did not send in an OWP app stupidly as he has one with IEC just now until August 25. Now with everything slowed down I'm trying to apply for one before his expires but it won't let me apply online without a code! What should I do ??

That type of application must be submitted in paper format.

If your spouse or common-law partner has already submitted an application for permanent residence but hasn’t applied for an open work permit, they can submit a completed IMM 5710 and the correct fee to this address:

• Case Processing Centre in Edmonton
  Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada
  c/o Work permits for spouses or common-law partners, Station 777
  9700 Jasper Avenue NW, Suite 55
  Edmonton, AB T5J 4C3

(I believe the fee is $255.00 CAD. )
