OWP application for spouse and PR application file update simultaneously?

Hello forum,
I hold a post-graduate work permit and I have applied for a OWP for my spouse recently. I also have my PR application in process. I have done my marital status update and now I have to update my PR application to include my spouse in the PR application. My application is currently @ CPP-O and was at the final stage of processing.

My question is, can I update my files and include her to accompany me in Canada while the OWP application in process? She is living outside Canada.

Any of your suggestion will help.

I am in same situation like you, yes she can apply for owp from her home country (its per my knowledge).
