Overstayed for 2 months and returning to Canada

Hello! Here's my story:

In Nov 2024, I applied for inside Canada study permit and, after a few weeks, received a POE Letter of Invitation valid until 2026. Thinking that I applied inside Canada and I should have received a study permit by mail but must have been severely delayed during the Canada Post strikes, I waited a few weeks more.
In Dec 2024, I submitted an IRCC webform inquiry to clarify why I haven't received my study permit yet. I included my address in the inquiry just in case they got the mailing address mixed up.
Jan 2024 - my visitor record expired but decided to stay thinking I already have a study permit, just delayed in delivery or processing by IRCC.
Feb 2024 - I followed up by submitting another IRCC webform and received an actual response a few days later-- that I need to leave Canada and re-enter to activate my student visa.
By that time, it came to me that I've been out of status for almost two months!!
I immediately left Canada and planning to go back in April where I'll present my POE LOI, a new Letter of Acceptance from a DLI and other documents to the border officer.

Question:
1. Will I be allowed to re-enter and get my study permit given these circumstances?
2. How severe would the border officer consider my case with the fact that I overstayed for almost 2 months?

Your feedback - good or bad - would be most whole-heartedly be appreciated! <3
