Hello guys.
So here is my situation.
I went to the US in June 2013 under the ESTA program. After the 90 day period i went to Quebec and stayed there a month. Then i applied for a new ESTA and went back to the US for another 3 months. After the 3 months period i went back to my home country where i stayed 2 months. Then i decided i wanted to go back for an extra 90 days.
In September 2014 i stayed past the 90 days and overstayed until January 2016. Now i am back in my home country and i want to apply for a study permit for Canada.
Do i have any chance of getting one or will i get an instant refusal due to my overstay in the US? I can prove that i have enough money for the entire duration of the studies.
Anyone having the same issues? Should i contact an immigration lawyer? What are my chances of getting one? How does the application work? Will the visa officier will be aware of my overstay?
Thanks in advance!
