Hi! I just want to know if I could apply for Student visa in Canada right away after I came back to my home country? I am overstaying here in US for 7 months now and want to go back to my home country and apply for student visa. Is there any question in the application that ask for overstaying and how likely I could get approved? Thank you for answering.

Yes there is a question just get the application forms. It will count against you, I would say approval is unlikely especially since you wont be able to show strong ties to India but you never know.

Strongly recommend that you return to your home country and stay there for 8-12 months to establish ties before submitting the study permit to Canada. When you apply, make sure you are 100% honest about your immigration history in the U.S. The U.S. and Canada share information.
