Hi there,

I will be very thanks full if somebody can help me sort out with the situation.

Situation.
Japanese citizen lived in US for 2 years, then he was denied to enter US when he tried to come back and got a stamp on US customs
212(a)(7)(A)(i)(1) (According to INA §212(a)(7)(A)(i)(1), any immigrant who, at the time of application for admission:
who is not in possession of a valid unexpired immigrant visa, reentry permit, border crossing identification card, or other valid entry document required by the Immigration and Nationality Act, and a valid unexpired passport, or other suitable travel document, or document of identity and nationality if such document is required under the INS regulations)

He already went to Canada and was studying there for 4 month until october 2011 (he was given a study permit and has an attendance paper from english school). But he didn't extend his visa.
And now he wants to come back to Canada to study at college.

Take into account his deportation from the US and that he has already been in Canada, how much is the chance to get study permit? And can all of this cause refusing in getting study permit?

Thank you in advance.
