Hi ALL
I am a skilled worker working in Alberta. I graduated from a leading business school in Canada and took a permanent operations role in a financial services company. My PG work permit expires in mid April and I need to go to India for some urgent work in Feb. I will return on March 1. My employer has agreed to do a LMIA for me and has advertised the position through a lawyer. The company will apply for LMIA in first week of March.
My concern is that CSA may give me a hard time or may not allow me to reenter Canada on the pretext that my work permit expires in Mid April.
If anyone has a similar experience or has been through a similar situation, kindly help.
Cheers!
PG
