I have received roles and responsibilities letter from my previous employer and they have mentioned last working day as 10th dec 2015.
But, in my current employment I had started working from 9th dec 2015.
My previous company manager was trying to retain me and wasn't accepting my resignation. Later on I went to hr head on 9th and 10th dec 2015 to talk about this and ask for any dues as I wasn't serving the notice period. I think this might be due to fact my manager might have accepted the resignation on 10th or as I visited the company on 10th and punched my ID card, their system logged it as my last working day.
Will this overlap of 2 days create any problems?
Should I mention this in letter of explanation? But these are only my assumptions.
