overdue procces time on rabat embassy

hello everybody , i applied for a spouse visa on march 2012 and was called for an interview on the 8th of October and i have been told that im accepted and my marriage is genuine and ill have to wait for another 2 to 3 months before my background checks would be completed .and now after almost 4 months and before month for my meds to be expire i haven't hear nothing from them . and everytime we talk to the lawyer to write them she says not to and when she did they never answer . we tried to contact my wife's MP and no answer yet too .this is sooo unfair and why they act like they give people lives instead of rights . what if my meds expire are they just going to tell me go and wait for another 5 months and no power ??? please help

sorry to be a downer its just because we will have a wedding soon in Canada and we already made everything and im worry that we wont make it for the wedding for no reason ? so please if anyone has an idea to do or it is normal to take this long can just help with an answer . Thanks

hi, have you ever been in military or police in your country? sometimes this can delay things. Otherwise your wife should keep trying the MP and lawyer. my friend got MP to help before, and she called the MP everyday for a week until they contacted visa office in India. her husband is now in Canada. good luck

no i never been in a military before and my longest trip outside outside in Europe was 2 weeks and i never broke the law that's whats concern me . im happy for your friend and thank you

im sorry but did your friends husband was waiting for background checks also ?

yes, their file was delayed 2 months because of background check, he live only in India, but in different areas. i hope you can get MP to help you. i just check and rabat should take 8 months for most cases, almost been 12 months for you now. it is not ok they dont give you any news .

in interview they tell you you are approved for visa but just have to wait for background check to be finished?

yes that what they told me , they told me i should wait for this background checks to be done than ill be called for issuing
the visa

hey how about if you go to rabat and say to them you got a call to come with your passport for issue the visa? are you far from rabat>/ if not i would do it, maybe they wont see u even but someone will get up from their desk and go look what is going on

each visa office has its days for issue visa so as long as you say you got call to be there on Tuesday at 10am to get visa

thats too bad , i am sure the guard would call them to find out what is going on because he would not have ur name in list. ahhhhhhhhhh everything is worth a try i hope you make it here for the wedding must be hard for ur wife too to stress for this

I would suggest that your lawyer should do the case specific enquiry as well as order the GCMS notes.
