Hello folks!

Hope everyone's doing well. I'm filling out my wife's outland sponsorship application and I have hit a couple of roadblocks.

- My wife was unemployed for 3 years after receiving her Master's degree. Does she need to provide a Letter of Explanation for that period, explaining why she was unemployed?
- Secondly, there is a customary 1-month gap between the completion of her Bachelor's program and the start of her Master's program. Does she need to provide an explanation letter for that as well? Full disclosure, I don't think she does, since I would assume this type of gap is fairly normal, but I would like to get your opinions anyway.

Our application submission has been delayed quite a bit since it took a while for us to gather all the necessary documents, so we're both anxious to get everything right the first time. Would genuinely appreciate any insights or suggestions.

Thanks.

I don't think either of these need explanations. Unemployed is unemployed. For the school gap - I'd just put one or other period (usually the ending period eg bachelor's) as a month later, it's not significant. Or just unemployed for a month.
