We have sent our sponsorship package to IRCC last week. As a non Quebec resident, is there any paperwork we can get started on now? Or would we need to wait for the go ahead from IRCC first?
Just wondering if we can save time now by doing any Quebec paperwork for the QSC in advance. Our desired destination is directly to Montreal from overseas - my wife speaks fluent English and French. Will she need to do any language tests to be eligible for the QSC?
Also, I am a Canadian resident by birth so as the sponsor I am under the impression that I don’t personally need a QSC to move to Montreal, but am I misunderstanding anything on that? It will be our first time to Quebec for the both of us if the approval goes through for an Outland Spousal Sponsorship.
