Outland Spousal Sponsorship - Feb 2018

Based on research it takes about 6-8 weeks for acknowledgement of receipt by CIC. I received the forms from my spouse on Feb 14, signed and mailed them on Feb 15. Forms delivered to cic on Feb 19. Problem is they updated the checklist and forms on Feb 14 and have stated that they will only accept old forms until March 15.

6-8 weeks from February 20 is beginning to mid april. Will my application be returned on the basis of outdated forms?

I try to call in to CIC but the wait time is always 40-45 minutes.

You will be fine. Usually the deadline of March 15, means the date you send your application to them (stamped date on your envelope), not the date they actually receive your application or the date they open up your envelope.

Need a clarification.

Does the IMM5332 for has to be filled up separately by both Sponsor and PA or just the Sponsor. I am getting mixed info in the CIC guide.

Sorry! Just to make it clearer. We have to fill different sections of the same form and submit after signing wherever required.
Only 1 form from both our sides have to be submitted.

Hey Guys,

Another ques!
My birth certificate is in Hindi. I have already got it translated to English from Notary Public. So does this mean that I only have tp submit the following:
- Copy of original birth certificate. Pls confirm I DO NOT have to certify it.
- Copy of the birth certificate translated in English
