Hi,
I am a Canadian Citizen born in Toronto, Ontario and have spent most of my life in British Columbia. Presently I am living overseas with my wife and she speaks fluent French and English. We would like to move to Canada in August 2020 to pursue school and work. We would like to start the sponsorship process for her to become a Canadian citizen.

A few questions:
1) I have never been to Quebec before, but I am a Canadian citizen, so due to this am I still eligiable to sponsor my wife in Quebec?
2) Can my wife work in Montreal while being sponsored?
3) And lastly, we would hope to be able to move to Montreal in August 2020 to settle in. Are there any important papers that we must fill out before we fly to Canada? I understand that I will need a Quebec Sponsorship Certificate, is there anything else that is needed before arriving?

PS. My father was born in Montreal, with the city on his birth certificate, but he has not lived there. If that matters or will help at all with the application to move to Quebec.

Thank you
