Outland Spousal Application Help

Hello everyone,

I recently posted about doing an Inland application, turns out that I have 1 year left on my IEC and the processing for Outland is 12 months so I decided to change.

I had a couple of questions though, first of which is the site states there will be an easier, quicker process introduced on the 15th, of course after we've practically completed this one there is! Does anyone have any information on that?

Second with Inland I didn't need a medical until requested, Outland is saying I need one prior to application? Why is this different?

If so I'm living in Canada, how much roughly am I expected to pay and what is there to expect?

And finally in the principal applicant documentation section it asks for documents I have provided as evidence for the forms, I assume the attached evidence I have provided for the IMM forms also means I can check off these boxes as I have already provided it?

Any help would be greatly welcomed!

Thanks

Inland do not require upfront medical unlike Outland for the current system. Regardless you stay in Canada or outside Canada (applying outland), it is best to do it upfront to avoid delay. If your countries are among those that allow Police Certificate without official request from CIC, I advice you to do it all thn you submit your application to avoid delay. Also, if your financial allows, it is advisable to pay your fees in full $550 + $490 = $1040 to avoid delay as well.

If you are going to apply outland, make sure you double the forms to submit as there are a few forms different from inland.
