Hello everyone!
My wife and I currently live in Korea and I'm putting together the outland sponsorship forms now so we can move back to Canada. I just want to make sure everything is good before I submit the application. I am a Canadian Citizen by birth.
Here are some details.
I met my wife in Canada while she was on a study permit. We met in June 2015 and got married in September 2016 and then decided to move to Korea in November 2016 so I could experience her culture and so that we could both work here.
We have registered our marriage here in Korea and we are planning to have a larger ceremony here in June 2017, more for her family and friends although my family will be coming over as well.
I currently have all the forms completed. I have also collected some letters from family and friends that state our intention to move back to Canada and get jobs buy a house and start a family once there. I will be submitting photos along with the application of special events in our relationship as well as my previous years notice of assessment.
I was wondering if there is anything else that I should include in the application? Should we wait for her to get the background check and medical check done or should we do it now and send it in with the application? Will there be any problems where I am currently living in Korea?
I can't think of any more questions now but I am sure I will have more. If there are any other things that may be helpful I really appreciate it
