Outland Sponsorship advice

I really need some help. I am a Canadian citizen and I'm living outside Canada right now. I live with my fiancée. And we will shortly get married. But since I'm living here I'm not employed in Canada. I am part of the local 598 union for cement masons and my dues are up to date. But I want to do an Outland Sponsorship but in the checklist I do see there is a financial assessment for me being the Sponsor.... but I also read that since I wil sign and undertaking for my spouse I don't have to prove or declare my income since I'm living abroad. I'm so confused regarding when I send all papers for eligibility if I should not include the financial assessment.
