Outland, IMM1344 Part 1, question 6 contradiction

Hi everyone,

We are both living in Canada, I'm sponsoring her under family class outland so in the checklist IMM5589e paragraph 5, Class of Application, I choose - "I am currently living in Canada, and I am applying under the Family Class (not under the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class). I understand that I may be convoked to attend an interview at a visa office outside Canada".


Then IMM1344 Application to sponsor, sponsor agreement : Part 1, question 6 "a" "the principal applicant is your:"
and there is no selection from the drop down I was expecting like "Family class living in Canada". I see only closest "Spouse living in Canada - applying under Family class", but since my partner is common law (and not Spouse) I can not choose that.
Another option is "Common law living in Canada" who is, inland processing. There is also "Other" where I can write whatever I want...suggestions please?

I think that if you are applying as common law you have to be living together for at least one year and remain living together throughout the application process so you would need to apply as Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class and select Common-law partner living in Canada. I might be wrong though so wait for one of the more experienced members to respond obviously, lol.

Anyone who applied chose Application class "I am currently living in Canada and applying under Family class"(IMM 5589 paragraph 5, checkbox 3
) and in common law relationship... what did you put in IMM1344 paragraph 6 please ?Thank you
