Outland Class_Family_does IRCC contact current employer?

Hello.

Does IRCC contact your current employer if you are applying through Outland class?

Just wondering because both my partner and I started new jobs a few months ago, and it’s not going to look great if IRCC tells them we are moving to Canada. Lol. Obviously we left this out at our job interviews when we started our jobs here in Australia. I am just a bit concerned our Australian employers might fire us if they realize we are leaving the country once my partner gets Canadian PR. And it would be great to save as much money as possible for our move to Canada with our secure jobs.

Obviously we will give them the courtesy one month’s notice before we move to Canada.

Do you know if your taxes and MSP (I am from British Columbia) are not up to date does that affect the application process as the sponsor?

Not sure about MSP but I am pretty sure you need your most recent NOA for the application.
