Hi y'all

I have a question regarding putting the application together.

I know CiC says no staples and binders and stuff like that. But should you include a table of contents or dividers for sponsor, principal applicant and supporting documents.

Also does the principal applicants birth certificate have to be notarized? And do the letters from family and friends have to be notarized as well?

Thanks so much!

You can include those things but certainly not necessary. I just put all of my stuff in one pile in order of the check list. As for birth certificate, that would depend on your country specific instructions. I only had to include a copy of birth certificate. Letters may be country specific as well. Some people have letters notarized anyways just to ensure authenticity. But not necessary in most cases.

We just used the big heavy black staples. But in an Outland Application, you won't have the extra possible application (We are inland, and sent an OWP application in the same pouch as well). They had no trouble accepting our paperclips for each document, either.

The checklist will request what documents need to be certified or notarized. That said, we did notarize her translated birth certificate, and 2/4 letters we submitted. Other translations were also notarized (we got a package deal, so why not?).

Thanks for the prompt responses.

I'm just trying to ensure we dot all our i's and cross all our t's. Don't want to submit and get it turned back for something silly.
