Greetings to all. Long time I have been away from this forum since I became PR. Hope I can catch up and help with anything I can. For the time being I do have a question with regards to form IMM5540E Q 10. The reason is my Elder son got married (civil marriage) planning to celebrate the religious ceremony in December but he is already filling up the forms, wife has done the medical upfront, and I am helping but I have a little doubt. In question 10 - WERE YOU YOURSELF SPONSORED TO COME TO CANADA?. The answer I know is yes but the date is where I am struggling a bit. When I came to Canada I arrived alone under working permit and my family (wife and 2 boys) joined me later. The visa was issued May/5th/xxxx, and they arrived in CAnada in june/11th, but my elder son was never issued a study permit although it was requested. I therefore submitted an application to extend/change status and dec same year he was issued a study permit. So, with this little explanation, hope I can get an answer Will I indicated May/5th/xxxx as the date when he was sponsored ?, we became PR in apr/2nd/2011. Thanks for your time
