So im going to apply outland for PR and get sponsored by my Canadian gf she is moving back in a couple of weeks.

The plan is for me to visit for 6 months while application is processing and then come back and go for another six.

She will have a house and a job so she will provide for me and ill have a small amount of savings.

So for the outland application doe we both need to apply or just me apply and I state she is my sponsor?

What do I do about the medical and police check shall I do that before I leave here in the UK or can I do it over there?

You need to complete all of the documents listed here and submit them together as one application package:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp

You can do the medical and police certificates once you reach Canada.

So I can do them over there then?? Sorry to ask again just wanna confirm

Also there wont be a prob if I go over to visit for 6 months come back then go again? Do I have to get any kind of documentation for these visits?

Do I have to leave a gap between the visits?

Yes - you can complete the forms in Canada.

It's impossible for me to say if you will have any issues going for a six month visit and then returning. Whether you are allowed into Canada and for how long is up to the immigration officer you encounter at the border. You should bring documentation that shows you have ties to your home country and have sufficient funds to pay for your stay. Make sure it doesn't look like you're moving to Canada.

There is no black and white rule regarding leaving a cap between visits. However a few months would likely be a good idea - otherwise immigration may say you're spending too much time in Canada and effectively living here. Alternatively, you can apply for an extension from within Canada instead of leaving at the end of six month.

Note that you should really be posting your questions to the Family Class section of the forum. You'll get a lot more responses there.
