Hi Friends,
I am going to complete one Year Under Canadian Experience on 31 March 2015.
However, I was out of Canada for two weeks in last month. Will that two weeks period get deducted from my Canada Experience days ? If yes - how many days will get further added to complete 1 Year ?

Thanks in advance for your reply .

were you paid in full during that time?

If it was paid vacation time, and you can support it with paystubs and reference letter, that states the benefits, then you are perfectly fine!

Yes, it was full paid vacation. So I am at safer side now. Thank you !

However, I am curious to know that:
how it would get counted if in case it were not paid vacation / Or / Are there any minimum no. of days which are not counted under CEC experience if you are out of Canada above those periods ?

Unpaid vacation doesn't count towards CEC, no matter you are inside or outside Canada.

For example you have 1 week off work unpaid, you will have to work extra 1 week after the 1 year anniversary of your job to compensate for it.
