hello all,
i have a quick question and i need your input.
i am currently a Postdoc working full time as a post doc in Canada.

I attended several conferences outside Canada in the summer.

for 5 weeks in total in different countries. Will it affect my application?

i was paid fully and attending conferences is a part of my job description and NOC.

Thank you

Travelling after you submitted your application will have no impact on the process. The most they would ask for is an updated travel record, but depending on where in the process you are they probably past that stage and not going back to it. Which is what happens in most cases. If IRCC had to go back an update everyone's travel history to current, they would have endless backlog.

no, i haven'f received an ITA yet, and i am asking if the time i spent attending conferences will affect my CEC score.
for example, my 1 year of Canadian experience will be due on 31st december, but i spent some weeks attending conferences in Europe. will that affect CEC score?

First of all, you said nothing about your CEC score in the post. To the question, NO this will not affect your cec score. If your Canadian employment sends you overseas for a 5 weeks assignment (conference), it still counts. Nothing to worry about.
