Stating that we need to include additional documents, and one of those bullet points says:

- Please note that the application for permanent residence in Canada (IMMOOO8) It states that the visa office requested for the process of your application is Vegreville. Please note that this office processes Application for PR in Canada - Spouse of Common Law Partner. If you wish to have your application processed in Vegreville, please complete the new and required forms, available at the above link, to our Mississuage office and we will forward it toVegreville. In doing so, it is important that you submit a withdrawal request for the current sponsorship application.

If you decide to continue with the existing application, kindly let us know in writing.

I don't understand what they are asking me to do, I realized maybe I put the wrong office down, so do i just change the office and resend it or fill out the other forms?! If I ask to continue with the existing application what does that mean?

A little help please!

Thanks guys. ???

well, did you send your application to missisauga or to vegreville? are you intending to apply inland or outland? if applying inland did you fill out the correct forms (for inland application) or did you mistakenly fill out outland forms (I'm assuming they might have some differences, but don't actually know for sure)?

without knowing more about what you did, it's hard to comment on how you should fix this application.

I am sure you now understand that to apply inland, you were supposed to mail your documents to Vegreville, not Mississauga.
What were the documents they requested? Just curious as I am afraid of my inland application being returned. I did use the right forms though and did mail to the right office. I am just afraid of that happening.

So i guess i need to fill out new forms and submit a withdrawal request? I dont understand what they mean when they ask if i want to continue with the existing application, does that mean it will be processed at vegreville or mississuaga??

Love young the other things they asked were just questions i had missed out, nothing major.

What were the questions you missed? Just want to make sure I didn't miss them. :)

Btw, here are the forms for the INLAND application http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/spouse.asp
And here are the forms for the OUTLAND application http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp

You may want to look over and see which ones match up to the ones you used.
Technically from the sounds of it, by sending it to mississauga they think you were intending to file outland and already made a file on you. Before withdrawing though, I would try to get in touch with some senior members here, maybe a consultant, as well as the CIC agents.

Yes, those are the inland forms that I gave you in the first link. Those are the ones I used.
I will give the link that shows you which guide to chose. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/spouse-apply-how.asp#step1

What was the form number of the pages that you didn't fill out?
By the way, thank you for sharing this with me. Also, I will do my ABSOLUTE best to help you get on the right track.

if you are applying inland, the overall process is the same, but there are different forms to fill out and you file the application in the Vegreville office.

If you are applying outland, you file the outland application in Missisauga. Sounds like your spouse/partner may be approved for sponsorship if you return the outland forms to the Missisauga office, specifying the visa office to which your application should be sent (i.e. your home country, or country in which you have legal status). You may have to leave to return to your home country for an interview, if required.

If you are going to file inland, you need to send the forms that have been returned to you to Vegreville for processing, but they are asking you to inform Missisauga which option you intend to fill out.

If you need help deciding between inland and outland applications, you can see the sticky note at the top of the forum.

So I called up CIC twice, to get some help with this, (and they were sooo kind to me!). They basically said I have 2 options, either continue with Outland application while I'm still living in Canada, or withdraw that application and send a new one for inland..because of the option to work and healthcare..but I explained that it took us a long time to do the forms and collate all the documents so the easiest option would be to continue with the Outland.

So they said I should mail it back, with new receipts printed, and they will forward it to London. She said it would take around 6 months to get PR, but if it takes longer then I should apply for another extension, (I currently have a 1 year extension) to remain in Canada.

Only downside, the guy said I would have to go to London for the interview if it should occur, but I guess that's okay.

Well...I feel less stressed! But it gives me a chance to include extra things that I would have sent separately, and I should resend it by the end of this month hopefully.

Gosh I never thought I'd see that application package again lol..I was so happy to get it out of the house!

Thanks so much to you guys for helping me though, I really appreciate it..there are some really nice people on this forum.
