Ouland applicant received PPR while inland applicant hadnot received any email

Dependent applicant received ppr request on august 31st,2023. No PR confirmation portal request has been received by the primary applicant. Its been 47 days. We have raised multiple webforms. Even dependent medical got expired on 9th oct. Also submitted remedical. We have approched MP as welll.
goyld you please help us what to do???

Me as dependent applicant residing in India , my passport request got expired. My husband(primary applicant doesnot receive any email for portal). No one is responding what to do next. Could you guide us what can be done

I dont have any experience in such scenario, but looking at the link I suggested earlier, it seems portal email and passport request are not dependent. May be you should have submitted passport without having to wait for portal email. What to do next ? I dont know unfortunately.

Hi All,

I am a dependant living in UAE and my Primary Applicant is in India, Now we received the PPR on 27th Oct, it is mentioned both has to be submit in a single package, and for this can she travel to UAE to submit her passport along with mine, She has no prior travel history outside of India, and do we need to notify the IRCC?

Hi, my spouse received pr confirmation portal request to upload photo. However, me ( inland applicant, my passport request got expired . What can be done to reissue ppr?

As far as I know inland applicant does not need to submit passport and gets portal request and eCOPR.

I received my PPR request on 31st august
My spouse (PA) received) Portal 1 email on 26 October and
P2 on 2nd November
Can I still submit my PPR OR it got expired?
I am unable to understand the timeline of 30 days like when it started?

30 day timeline was when you received your PPR, it is expired now. Reach out to the Canada High Commission in India or raise a webform or call IRCC helpline explaining that you need a new PPR.

Were you able to get the passport letter again after it expired after 30 days? Did the passport letter have your name or your husband's name (Primary Applicant)?


I am the primary applicant who applied in the CEC class and currently reside in Canada on a work permit with my dependent child. My husband is the dependent applicant and he lives in the USA. I received a letter that has my name(Primary applicant)and instructs me to submit my passport and/or dependent passports to VAC Newyork.


I have not received the email commonly referred to as (portal email 1). I was expecting that I would receive an email to confirm if I am in Canada as we are the inland applicants. And my spouse will get a passport request letter.
