Hello, I am a single CEC applicant (AOR: 2020/11/13).
I found out from a phone conversation on 2021/03/17 with an IRCC representative;
Visa office : Ottawa
Eligibility : not even started
Criminality: in progress
Security: not even started
Questions
1) Is the Ottawa office normally slow like this? I am very disappointed as the eligibility has not even been started.
2) I gained the 1 year Canadian experience from two employers (the 1st one 8 months; the 2nd one 4 months). My relationship with the 1st one has ended terribly so they denied to write me a reference letter (They even almost threatened me after my multiple requests for a reference letter.). So I submitted the affidavit explaining such situation, with all the supporting documents. Despite the absence of a reference letter, I luckily have all the IRCC-required info (duties/responsibilities, start/end dates, wage, etc.) from the initial job offer letter and ROE. The job offer letter has a letterhead and the signature of the director. But I am still worried because of the absence of an IRCC-desired format document. How likely is my application accepted/rejected in this kind of situation?
