Hi just wanted to start a tread for applicants in oOttawa that have done the citizenship test and are awaiting oath.

applied in august 21 2013 and since nov 21 no update , i called cic and they told me anytime from now untill august . please wait for test letter

Hi, i applied 30 sept 2013 and got letter to write test on February 11 in January.

I passed my test Jan 8. The website updated on Feb 12 that they had sent me an invitation on Feb 7 to take the oath on Mar 7.

1-3 months is what they mentioned at the test as the waiting time for the oath invite, and that seems to be accurate.

Congratulation, canacit! That's a quick timeline for Ottawa. Did you ask for urgent processing? Did you have trips after coming to Canada?

I am also waiting for the oath invitation (or RQ).

Hi, no I have not travelled since I came to Canada in 2010. I justwwanted to complete the number of days required before I started travelling. Also I am currently doing a second degree.
