Other Proof of PR Aside from PR Card?

Do you know of any other proof of Canadian permanent resident status other than PR card and COPR?

I need documentation of my PR status for a licensing exam and my PR renewal is still in process and I lost my COPR.

I was advised other proofs are acceptable and this is why I am asking for advise here.

Are you located in BC?

When I landed in 2011, I had to send my PR card back to be replaced because of some name issues. I had my landing paper and used that to give the road test. The driver licensing authority issued me a paper interim drivers licence however told me to bring my PR card in order to get the proper license.
As you have lost your landing paper, you might need to wait till you get your PR card or if you have copy of your landing paper, show it to the drivers licensing office and see if they can accept it. If not, ask them what other options they have available for you.

They can also accept a print of PR card application status from cic website, along with COPR, that is what they told me this week when I was there.
