I have following queries in my mind.
1.OSAP needs to have 12 months consecutive stay for the candidate to be eligible. I have a situation where in the student completes Grad 11 from Ontario after staying for 10 months. Visits her parent country for vacation after grad 11 , for a period of 2 months in July and August. Again joins the studies for Grad 12 and applies for OSAP in July while being in class 12. Pls tell me whether her vacation period will be considered as stay or not. She continued to have her address and accomodation during the vacation period.
2. Since parents are not staying with her, should they need to file zero income tax return in Canada or their tax return from the parent country will contribute towards her OSAP eligibilty.
