Original reference letter?

Just a quick question
has anyone ever been asked to provide the original letter of reference?
the reason why I'm asking is that my letter of reference is a PDF with electronic signature, I simply printed it out and submitted.
so technically there's no original letter of reference
pls anyone can share your view or experiences.

same for me...... I hope they don't ask me for it.......

but if they do, I suppose I will just explain the situation in written letter and ask them to contact the HR person who signed on the reference letter for detail.

anybody else has an idea how it actually works?

Who gave you that reference probably HR I guess , so take the Print out and Get the sign on it and make it Original , Whats the big deal ?

As per the checklist, CIC wants only a copy of the reference letter and *not* the original.

Yes, but his question is if CIC ever requested anyone for an original reference letter (during processing, not in the submission itself).
