Original Passport Resquest

Hi Everyone,

I was asked to send my passport to Ottwa in 30 days. I sent 2 days after and as I am Brazllian (I have E.T.A.) I just sent copies to them. Yesterday night I got a new e-mail asking me to send the original one in 7 day or they will send me back my documents.

I'll have a business trip On Sunday and I'll be back the following Friday.

My question: If I asked them to postpone it will be ok? If I dont send in seven days are they gonna cancel my entire process or only the last documents I've sent?

You can try to ask to postpone. But yes if you don't submit it, you may be refused for failing to comply.

You should ask them to postpone and show proof of your travel, and say that you can submit as soon as you return from your trip.
