Original educational Certificates required back for HEC Pakistan attestation

Hello friends,

My wife applied for family sponsorship for me in January, 2012 and she received an email describing that “she has met the requirement to sponsor” and that my file is being transferred to Islamabad visa office for further processing in April 2012. But since then there has been no update at all. I even did not receive any acknowledgement email is that normal?

I initially had to provide CIC with all my educational certificates and transcripts in original (as it was specifically mentioned for Pakistani citizens). Still I kept the original university degree with me. I moved to Dubai in March, 2012. The problem that I’m stuck in now is that, the company that I work for in Dubai needs an attested copy of my University degree and has given me 2 months’ notice for providing that. And HEC has written in their website that there is an explicit requirement for all Certificates and transcripts since Matric to be provided in original for the attestation of University Degree.
Now I don’t have any clue what to do, whom to contact and how to proceed from here on.

I will be delighted if someone can guide me. I don’t want to lose my job here and my company’s requirement is very strict. I have already explained them the whole situation and couldn’t nudge their rigidity even least a bit.

just go to ur university and tell them whole story or even dont tell them just tell that u need duplicate of orignal ,,they will issue u new one to u...from which university r u from

I was just wondering isnt there a way i can ask Islamabad visa office or CIC to return me back my original matric and hsc certificate and transcript and explain them the whole situation? will that work? any plausible way to go for this?

its not that easy to contact CIC its long process like 3 to 4 month ..plus it will dely ur case as well..and just ask sir syed they will give u another copy i know getting all documents from sir syed is not that difficult,,,,and from matric an d hsc contact board office ,,,now u have two options chose which u feel better for u

Thanks alot Mrs Sam. Any thoughts on the timeline of my application. Is this an extra ordinary delay or its just normal. I'm sure my medical also expired in november 2012. But I havent got any reply for that even. Do they send an acknowledgement after transferring the file to ISB visa office to the applicant?

no they dont send any acknowledgment after transfer ,,even 2012 applicant have no idea where there files is coz they says they transfer it to isl but it might be in ottawa

Is this a right time for me to order them? Is ecas or notes the same thing?

yes GCM notes u can file them coz its already a 1 year for u or ask ur wife to contact her area MP

I really need to do what you did about this. I am in a same situation....... my degrees are with Canadian ppl........ did you use the duplicate degrees ? I have requested my university for the duplicate ones... not sure if they can work ?? need this information brother.
