Hello everyone I hope you can help me with my concern. I will be taking my citizenship exam in a week unfortunately I don't have the original document of my diplomas and transcript of records which I have included in my application and was required to bring the originals. I have requested the original documents to be sent from my country expect to receive it Monday but just in case I don't have it on the exam date will I be able to take the exam? Thank you in advance.

you won't be needing those documents. Most important are the letter, passports (current or expired), PR card. They typically don't ask for anything else.

They will have all your documents including your residency calculation sheet you submitted. They do check your passport to match your residency calculations and if you have any stamps that are not in English or French, better get them translated.

Some people have taken CBSA report and when I presented mine, the officer said it is not needed and didn't even looked at it.

Good luck.

Usually the officer only checks the IDs like pr card, drivers license and passports but if they have doubt, they can ask to see the originals.

So someone sent you the photocopies of your diploma/transcript from your home country OR you already had the photocopies with you and attached it with your citizenship application?

Ideally you should have got/kept your originals with you before submitting the application.

Thanks for the info I presumed I would be needing the documents since it said it my letter "all your original documents that support your citizenship application as listed in the document checklist" I do have my old and new passports and PR cards, licenses.
I had scanned copies of the documents - diplomas etc.. but I had my daughter send me the originals by mail just in case and it is taking a long time, but i suppose I won't be needing those documents after all.

Thank you for the help YYC101 and thecoolguysam.
