Original document: Do not have it?

Hi all,

I have my citizenship test and interview in 2 weeks. They want us to bring the originals of the documents we submitted when we applied.

My IELTS scores to prove my English was a scanned copy from earlier years; and I do not have an original copy of it as I submitted it with my PR application 2-something years ago.

I will try to get the original copy from the institution, if I cant; would this be a problem? What would be your suggestions?

PS: I also have a masters degree from a reputable university in Canada and can show that as an option to prove my English, but this wasn't the originally submitted document, not sure how legitimate that would be..

Most people here reported that the officer didn't ask to see originals of their language proof, but on rare occasion they did. I feel that if you converse properly, they won't bother. That being said, you should take a copy of your IELTS as well as Original degree with you.Should be fine.

Their focus is more on the passport and to see your health card, COPR, PR Card etc.
Normally they never ask to see language proof originals. (not me or my family)

This is enough and complete proof, they dont need anything else to prove your English. Even if you had submitted something else in your application, you can show this in interview and I think you should be fine.
