As an example I will tell you what I did with my file... I made 2 big books out with table of content at the beggining of each one... I place plastic spiral things to hold the paper and kidda finish off the book...
In my table of content I wrote in example:
Exhibit 1 - Phone bills from sponsor
Exhibit 2 - Phone bills from Applicant
Exhibit 3 - Correspondance from sponsor to applicant (letters, emails, text messages that I sent to email and printed)
Exhibit 4 - Correspondance from applicant to sponsor
Exhibit 5 - Trip 1 dates: ...... for every trip I place pictures that I glued on a white piece of paper and I wrote beside who was in the pic. I also included boarding passes, credit card statement, hotel reservations, any receipts....
......
Exhibit 6 - Wedding (I included all pictures and receipts for rings, reception, honeymoon, dresses, grooms attire, church fees, photograph, dj, decorations and so on.....)
Exhibit 7 - Additional info (I included all the info such as western union, things i bought for him, insurance papers (benefiary), joint accts, joint credit cards... just anything that could proof that our relationship is genuine...
When we filled out the application we would write our story and write please see exhibit ... for further information...
I made my application with my lawyer which really help as i didnt have a clue on how to build my case and how to organize all the information which really help me... I hope this can help you.... If you have further questions let me know
