ordering GCMS notes

Hello,

I have been approved to sponser my wife. Im a canadian citizen. Im want to order GCMS notes to check on her application. Do i need to send a consent form to cic ? or am i already approved as im her sponsor. also do i need to pay this 5 dollar fee?

I do not believe that the OP need not pay the $5 fee. The OP wants information pertaining to his wife and hence he cannot obtain access to it under the "Privacy Act". If the OPs wife is in Canada, then SHE can apply under the Privacy Act and not pay the fee.
