Iam sponsering my wife from Vietnam. I am ordering Gcms notes and would like to know exactly what i need to scan and submit online. I have her form giving permission to release information to me. Iam canadian citizen and currently living in canada. Do i just scan passport showing my picture and name, and also driver's licence? Thanks

Please check the link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5744E.pdf and your wife need to fill and download this form and need to send you signed scanned copy of this. After that you can apply for GCMS notes and you need to upload this scanned copy plus Scanned copy of your PR card/ Passport.

Its all online and you just need consent form, no other proof if you are in Canada with Canadian address

Proof that you have the right to make a request:
Proof may include a copy of your Canadian passport, your permanent resident card, or an official document that demonstrates you are currently living in Canada (i.e. driver's license, bill with proof of address, or work, study and/or visitor permit).
If you have a mailing address in Canada, you will NOT be required to provide proof.
