1. My dependent aged 18 in march. Medical done on 31-03-2012. Waiting PPR-1. Requested to send updated form for recently aged 18 dependent. Sent already within week. Later on Nov.20 requested PCC for dependent aged 18. Already sent. Sent Two CSI no reply. Why they are not replying had two csi. More than 8 months since medical.

2. I have to show CAD$29000/- as proof of fund. CAn I carry 15-20K and rest shows in bank statement in native country.

Please confirm?

Perhaps waiting for background check.
Regarding the funds you have to show while landing in Canada, you cannot show any bank statement of your country. The funds should be in cash, bank draft, travellers cheque etc. It is not necessary to carry all the cash. Keep few thousands ( up to 5000/-) in cash and balance in other forms.
