option c - notice of assessment

Hello everyone,

I'm in the process of putting together a sponsorship application to bring my Wife here from the Philippines.
One requested form they want is an "Option C - Notice of Assessment" for the most recent taxation year. Is this the same form as you receive from CRA that is simply described as "Notice of Assessment"?
I've searched all over the net to find this out and so far no luck.
Please someone let me know!

If you mean the letter you receive after you've filed your taxes, no, it's not. You just have to call CRA and they'll send you the Option Cs for all the years requested, in a few days

That is correct, it is NOT your notice of assessment that was sent to you. You need to call CRA at 1-800-959-8281 and request they send you the Option C Printout for the years requested. No big issue to get it, just might have to wait on hold for an agent at CRA.
