OPNP Situation On a closed WP with alberta employer but living in ON QUIT MY JOB

Hi Guys!!!

So this is my situation, hope you can advice me right I have a closed work permit with an employer in Alberta, but I only worked with an employer for 5 months and quit my job and moved to ON in search of a new job, since then I'm unemployed and living with my relatives my status is valid because of valid work permit.

I don't understand how I suppose to explain this whole situation to OPNP. My last work permit was issued to work in Alberta, but I only work 5 months and moved to ON because of some reason with employer.

Can someone please help me out ???

As you're on a closed WP you can't work for another Employer. I don't know what the Nomination criteria is apart from 400 CRS points. Are you eligible for the IEC class? If you are this gives you an Open Work Permit. You can use this to accumulate experience and apply for OINP in future.

I am looking for an employer in Ontario who is willing to sponsor me, that was the main reason I quit my job. But my question is if I apply for OPNP is it gonna affect on my application ???

No it wont affect ur OINP. Just be truthful and send required documents and dont work with another employer unless u have open workpermit.

and can someone please tell me what if I borrow some funds from my relatives, what sort of document I need to get from them ??

Anyone have had this kind of situation working in other province or worked in other province and get nominations from Ontario ??? please share ???
