opnp as doctor

Anybody applying for opnp as a physician? I have heard there are many physicians in Ontario so they won't give nominations to doctors

I really advise you to consider and rethink your decision to move to Canada.... unless your credentials as a Doctor are accepted in Canada (like if you had studied there or in US or Australia..etc)... you are going to have a hard time before you are able to practice as a doctor although they do need physicians there as far as I know..... dunno about Ontario specifically though.

There is plenty of room for new doctors, esp. in rural and northern Ontario. But as the previous post mentioned, it can be difficult to get licensed to practice unless your credentials are from the USA, UK, Australia...

If you had received the letter of interest from Ontario, go ahead and send your application. I was nominatted as a doctor. I just advice you to see how is the process to get a license from Ontario , because they asked me once what I was doing to be licensed there.
