I am not sure what to do...
I'm still waiting for the oath (status changed from 'in progress' to 'not started' in Oct 2022) which doesn't sound good. Been a year now.
I want to go back to my country (Mauritius) in June for family matters, my PR card has expired, I also have British Citizenship but my passport expired. I was expecting I would get the citizenship this month or February but it's more uncertain now due to the change of status.
Is it best to renew my British passport and PR card to travel or still wait a bit longer for the citizenship and apply for the Canadian passport? Is there even enough time for that? How long would it take to get the citizenship certificate?
