Open work permit

Hi , i have a question below
I have one year multiple entry tourist visa for canada.
My wife is Canadaian citizen i am planning to move to Canada permanently.
My tourist visa will expire in june 2019
If I submit my spouse application can i stay in Canada and apply for open work permit and can stay infinite untill there will be any decision for my application.

Wt kind of open work permit will be issued and for how long

Yes you can apply via an inland spousal sponsorship and also submit an OWP application.

Yes but how long will b the permit for . Do i have to renew my tourist visa after june or will my OWP valid untill a decision is made for spouse application

I have heard two different senerios. Some say 2 years and others say until their passport expiry.
