Open work permit

Hi,

My wife and I applied for my PR in November 2013 from inland and as everyone, I worry about the processing time. I understand that most of the applicants are also applying for work permit in the same time with PR.
I haven't done that and now I'm a little concerned.

Can someone please advise me what should I do? Is it OK if I apply now and try to get the work permit file attached to the PR one?

Your best bet is to call CIC and hope that the person on the other end knows what s/he is talking about.

Personally, I think you may have to wait until you have AIP, since you did not include it with your PR application, but...hopefully I'm wrong.
