Open work permit

Hi everyone, I just wondering that when I am eligible for open work permit. Even though my work permit issued date is 24-1-2014 and it's going to be expire next year on 23-1-2015. And i submit my PR application file to cic on 24-2-2014 but I did't get file number yet.
The question is if I get my file number so i would be eligible for open work permit right after my PR file number?

If you are under PNP then u will get OWP. Otherwise u need LMO to apply for WP.

thanks. yes i applied under BC PNP. but when i will be eligible for open work permit.

You can apply for a Bridging Open Work Permit within 4 months of your current work permit expiring, so Sept 23rd. Some people have said they applied for and received a BOWP more than 4 months before expiry but that is not a guarantee.

but for applying Bridging Open Work Permit do i need pr file number or any other thing?
