Hello everybody!

On sep 10th I'll have 1 year of full time work experience and I have all my pappers ready to be sent. But by work permit expires on sep 30th.. Will I receive answer on time to apply for open work permit, so I dont have to leave Canada?

You won't. But, you can still apply for BOWP as soon as you have applied for PR under CEC even though you will not have your AOR on hand, explain your situation and attach supporting documents that you do have (receipt of payment for PR processing, photocopy of your application form with barcodes, etc) and hope that you fall on a good officer who will approve your BOWP. In the meanwhile, as long as your BOWP application is being processed, you are entitled to stay in Canada and continue working under implied status.
If it is going to be rejected you will have no choice but leave.

You need to send your CEC application as soon as you gather one year of full time work experience (and be very very careful to have that one full year and that your application contains all correct data). You can send your application (send your application by regular mail because processing times are slower) for Bridging Open Work Permit one day before your current work permit expires (you will be in implied status which means you can continue to work until your application for BOWP is resolved). It is very unlikely that you will not receive AOR needed for BOWP before your current work permit expires, but you can write an explanation in your BOWP application stating that you haven't received AOR and as soon you receive AOR you will notify CIC (there are post from people who were is same situation and I am one of those people also).

If that was paid vacation (which means your contract with company wasn't in some kind of suspended status during your vacation) it is included in number of working days.

Reference letter from your company must contain when you started to work for that company and when you stopped working for that company (if you stopped) together with number of payed working hours per day. Unpaid vacation usually means that you weren't employed by company for certain amount of time and CIC can request pay stubs which contain exact information about days and hours for which you were paid.

You don't need to wait for two weeks.

copy paste from CIC web site CEC "Determine your eligibility-Canadian Experience Class" page

"You must have at least 12 months of full-time, or an equal amount in part-time, skilled work experience. Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week."

So on 10th September you are supposed to have 12 months. If I was you, I would call CIC and asked them how they calculate that 12 months.

And yes, you can send BOWP application 2 days before your current work permit expired.

My vacation was not paid, thats why I am asking. I do work betweek 36-40 hours per week, but I had 2,5 weeks of unpaid vacation. Didnt think that would be a problem at the time :-/

And I asked, can I apply just for BOPW just 2 days after I apply for PR under CEC?!

I have just one more question. My husband is with me in Canada, and he will apply with me for PR. Can he apply for BOPW also?! His work permit also expired on sep30th
