Open Work Permit validity if primary applicant visa status changes

My company applied for ICT visa for Calgary location, and I added my spouse as dependent. I got my worker visa stamped and my spouse got his OWP stamped on passport. In parallel, I was having my PR application in Progress (spouse-non accompany). I also got my Immigrant (PR) visa stamped.
Recently I travelled to Canada using PR visa as work visa becomes null or void as I got my PR.

1. Now my spouse is in India, Is his OWP visa still valid? Can he travel on this visa to Canada even though my work visa is invalid

She only got her passport stamped, but open work permit letter has to be issued at canadian airport. Since now primary applicant does not hold any Temporary Status, she will not be allowed to enter in canada.
